I have some of the most amazing frost patterns in my windows. They usually only last a day or so and change over time. When I see one as glorious as this, I drop everything and grab my camera.

Doorbell
Making an old out-dated doorbell into a work of art
I hate throwing things away and often hold on until I figure out something to do with them. (Yes, I am a bit of a tree-hugger - reduce, reuse and recycle!) When I got the idea as to how to make this c.1978 doorbell into art I worked feverishly to get it done. I think it turned out pretty cool!

Apples!
What to do with thousands of golf-ball sized apples - So far I have made apple butter, apple bread and baked apples with cinnamon and sugar. Today - an apple pie! YUM
