I am semi-retired from my job as Mom now that both my children are in college. My current challenge is my 1978 split level house in Roseau, MN. It's not my dream home and I don't love it. But, it is what I have and it needs A LOT of work. I want to make it my own without spending tons of money. Most of all I want it to be my canvas for creativity. So here goes...

Apples!
What to do with thousands of golf-ball sized apples - So far I have made apple butter, apple bread and baked apples with cinnamon and sugar. Today - an apple pie! YUM
